The Xtellus Wavelength Blocker 9000 can selectively and dynamically pass, equalize or block any or all wavelengths on a DWDM fiber. The wavelength blocker is the proven engine for reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers (R-OADMs) and is the only dynamic wavelength selective technology deployed in volume in operational DWDM systems. Offering access to all wavelengths for drops and adds the wavelength blocker is the ideal solution to meet the critical requirement of economically adding and dropping any number of wavelengths at a node. The WB 9000 is optimized for the most demanding and high bit rate R-OADM, OXC and channelized equalization applications in long haul and regional networks.
