The Xtellus Wavelength Blocker 7000 can selectively and dynamically pass, equalize or block any or all wavelengths on a DWDM fiber. The wavelength blocker is the proven engine for reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers (R-OADMs) and is the only dynamic wavelength selective technology deployed in volume in operational DWDM systems. Offering access to all wavelengths for drops and adds the wavelength blocker is the ideal solution to meet the critical requirement of economically adding and dropping any number of wavelengths at a node. The WB 7000 features the smallest form factor of any commercially available wavelength blocker at a price point that will drive large scale deployment in Cable MSO and Telco Metro optical networks.
